Conspire Conference LIVE

We're thrilled to announce that, beginning tomorrow,  the 2009 Conspire Conference will feature LIVE blogging

Matt Guevara and Henry Zonio have agreed to share their thoughts, insights, and experiences during each main session.


Matt Guevara is proud to be outnumbered in his house by his wonderful wife of six years, Noel, and two daughters, Isabel and Sofia. Matt has served on the KidsWorld staff at Christ Community Church in St. Charles, Illinois since 2007 both as the   Creative Arts Director and Grade School Group Life Director. Prior to that, Matt served as the Children's Pastor at Lake City Church in Madison, Wisconsin beginning in 2003. Matt is excited to finally complete his Masters Degree in Children's and Family Ministry at Bethel Seminary this May and he is working on a book proposal about ministering to digital learners. You'll often find Matt laughing at his own jokes, eating Chipotle, or goofing around on his iPhone. 


Henry Zonio, a husband of one and father of four, has 9 years’ experience as a full time Children’s Pastor in the United States and anada. He is on staff at Redwood Park Church in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where he has the freedom to experiment with spiritual formation trategies. Henry serves as the Children’s Ministry Network Facilitator for the Central Canadian District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada. Henry also authors Elemental Children’s Ministry (http://www.elementalcm.com), a blog which facilitates conversations about the mutual influence of children’s ministry and culture. After growing up in California enjoying watersports, he has expanded his H2O experiences to include sitting in a sauna for insane periods of time, followed by rolling in the snow.

Those of us on the Conspire team believe very strongly in the power of community and relating with those who serve in ministry. Ministry is just too hard to do alone - without encouragement and empowerment none of us would survive.

If you are an Early Childhood Director, Large Group Teacher, or Small Group Leader, this all-day session will help you discover how to build spiritual formation in preschool children.

You'll also learn how to develop a vision for your ministry and develop practical skills for teaching, leading and engaging with children.
