Last week I went to the Magic Kingdom at Disney World – it really is the most magical place in the world. My first trip to Disney World was when I was 10 with my family and every minute was magical as I experienced the Pirates of the Carribean and It’s a Small World for the very first time.
My second trip was 5 years ago for my honeymoon – and even though I experienced the park as an adult, it was just as much fun as when I was 10 years old. My soul was filled with creativity and wonder as I enjoyed the rides, and listened to the classic stories, and marveled at the beauty.
I couldn’t help but wonder - What is the secret to Disney’s magic? How do they consistently capture the imagination of children, teenagers and adults alike and how can the church be a place for children and families that captures their imaginations around the most brilliant stories ever told?
Join the conversation – what do you think is the secret to Disney’s magic? How can the church be a place of creativity and imagination for children?
I’m thrilled that we will have an opportunity to learn from the experts behind the Disney magic this year at the 2008 Conspire Children’s Conference. Glen Keane, Animator and Director, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Rick Dempsey, Senior Vice President, Creative Character Voices will join us in main session #4 as they unpack some of their magical secrets.
